More Christmas Pictures

Grayson is Grandma's boy. Or as he says it 'Maaama'
This is after a long hard morning of watching Grayson open presents. It's tough being a dada.
This isn't even our movie, but he just loves the Panda.
Grayson got a remote control tractor among many other things from Grandma and Papa. We appreciate how generous they are to us and our little guy.
On Christmas morning when Grayson came to the living room to see what Santa brought him he just stared. He was very timid and we had to coax him a little to go near his presents. The best part was he was sincerely interested in each individual present that he received. He didn't just go from one present to another ripping it open... he took his time, it was great!

Merry Christmas!

This is Grayson's first bike! Right now he mostly likes to just push it around, but he's slowly getting the hang of peddling. Notice the green toenails :)
Mr. Potato Head is very intriguing to an almost 2 year old, I even have fun playing with it!

He loves his Pooh Bear piano book and I love any picture with my cute boys in it.These are just a few pictures, I took a bunch on my dad's camera and still have to get them from him.We had a great Christmas spending most of the morning home and the afternoon at my parent's house. Grayson got a gigantic stuffed puppy, a tricycle, Legos, buckets of plastic animals, books and a few other toys. We boxed up all of his 'baby' toys to make room for his new stuff. Hopefully he'll stay busy for awhile.

Frosty

Today Grayson built his very first snowman! About 5 seconds after we took these photos he knocked it's head off and picked out the raisins and carrot and fed them to Koko. Snowmen around here have a very short lifespan!
He had to make sure he was fake before the beheading.
Here is our awesome Christmas tree! We weren't going to get one this year but Santa (my parents) came one night and brought us this cute little tree. I LOVE real trees. It brightened up our house with its lovely smell and colorful lights. It isn't very big so we set it up on an end table in the corner so we can see it better. Little did we know it also keeps the tree the perfect distance from the ground so the holy terror doesn't have full access to ALL of the lights and ornaments! This is going to be our tree strategy until our youngest kid is at least 3 years old.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is the first time in 7 years that I have eaten turkey! Over the summer I de-vegetarianed myself and am now a full blown meat eater (minus anything cute like lambs or any type of innards). I must say I fully enjoyed my Thanksgiving feast. My mom prepared a great turkey and maybe since I just wrote that she will finally believe me...she is very critical of herself that Suzy. Grayson made a complete mess and filled up mostly on jello, cranberry sauce and pumpkin roll. At least he kept busy and allowed me to relax and eat slowly! I hate rushing a dinner that takes so much effort and preperation.

of people I went to high school with. He is tall and fast and graceful, but 48 hours and one chiropractor adjustment later he is pretty much the opposite... hunched, slow and gimpy. Poor Dan!

While Daddy was Out...

When there's nowhere to go and its cold outside we make banana bread, paint our nails, shave mommies legs and blow dry Grayson's hair!
Its like a girls night out... but in... and with my boy...

Attention span

50 minutes... he seriously sat there eating his ice cream cone watching Ice Age for 50 minutes! I was sitting next to him until I got up to take the picture. Koko hopped on the couch and eyeballed the ice cream until I sat back down.
I told him to smile and this is what I got :)
I know I'm totally partial, but I just think Grayson has the cutest little toes in the whole world! I had to take a picture because I know one day he'll grow up and they will be gross.

Cute to some, not to others!

Every night when I give Grayson a bath Koko comes running in and starts licking the side of the tub. And every night when she does that he grabs her and tries to pull her in the tub! So last night I decided to let him have his way (she needed a bath anyway so why not kill two birds with one stone?) Koko was pretty nervous the whole time because she never knows if or when Grayson is going to takle her with a hug. I gave Grayson a cup and he was content using it to pour water on her for quite awhile. Who needs bath toys when you have a dog?!?

In other news Grayson has been weaned from the binky for almost a month. It was a sad couple of nights telling him 'no' when he did that sad little face asking for the 'me-me'... but we persevered and it paid off!

Happy Halloween!

For Halloween this year we went down to American Fork and went trick or treating with my sister and her family. We filled the kids' tummies with as much normal food as possible before giving them unlimited access to tons of candy. Poor Grayson only had 2 suckers and a tootsie roll then I left the rest of his candy with his cousins. This tradition of going to strange peoples houses and asking them for candy has me perplexed. I hope he doesn't go around the condos and expect candy from strangers anytime of the year.
Dan scared many children along the way. Grayson just ran around like a maniac.

Pumpkins

We went to this pumpkin patch over on Highland called Engh Gardens. For all of you wanting to get pumpkins for Halloween DONT go there! "Hi my name is Engh Gardens and I charge $20 for a 15lb or less pumpkin. Oh and the little mini ones are $3 each!" What a RIP!

Dan was exposed to this lovely family tradition for the first time. Its been many years since we've actually been able to bring home the kill.

We drove to the 'overlook' to hike around and Grayson fell asleep in the car. Amazingly enough he slept in my arms the whole time!
