Flaming Gorge

This is a shot from our cabin. It is so beautiful up there!
He learned how to throw snow at me... not a big surprise!
Dan was exposed to this lovely family tradition for the first time. Its been many years since we've actually been able to bring home the kill.

"Mama is brown snow like chocolate ice cream?"
I am man, hear me roar
The boys where pretty smelly after this whole killing an innocent animal venture.
This is the men trying to fit the Elk head into the back of the truck. It was gross, you can tell by the look on Papa's face.
He kept bending over to eat the snow and would face plant because of all his snow clothes.
Me and my little man.
The whole clan minus Grandma (she was pretty much cooking or watching babies the whole time) Papa (he was taking the picture) Morgan and Maggie.
Dan showed Grayson how to start a fire, make a shelter and gather food for the winter... JK
We drove to the 'overlook' to hike around and Grayson fell asleep in the car. Amazingly enough he slept in my arms the whole time!

Man Ash, you are such a trooper to go on these cold hunting trips. You guys seem like you are having an adventure. Now what the heck are you going to do with all that meat?
