Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so thankful for my wonderful family! We went up to Zermatt this weekend for Thanksgiving with my parents and brother and sister and their families. We had a delicious work free Thanksgiving dinner, spent time at the pool, played games and relaxed. The kids had a great time with all their cousins! Madison zonked out on the floor after a long day of fun and no nap she just crashed at about 10:30pm. I thought I had a picture on my phone but I can't find it! I also didn't take my camera so I have no pictures of said weekend.

Here are some other pictures of just the past week or so...

My cute little man is such a good baby! I just love him! I moved him out of my room into his crib in Madison's room... I'm a little sad about it, but it's a good thing:) He's growing so fast, I had to buy him some more clothes size 9m and get rid of all the tiny baby clothes.

I dyed my hair again, this time a little darker so it doesn't fade so much. It's hard to see, but really the only picture I could find.

My two handsome boys annnd mommy puppy. We got that thing for Grayson when he was like 9 months old and he sleeps with it every night.

I drew a happy face on my tummy to make them laugh and of course they wanted to participate!

Dan has gotten really good at rocking Dylan to sleep!

The other night I kissed dan good night then came back down a little while later to turn down the heat and this is what I found... he said it makes him feel like

he's actually in the car. What a dork! :)

Madison

My sweet little girl who is precisely 2 yrs and 7 months old learned how to ride her bike without training wheels a few days ago! I was impressed with Grayson when he learned right around his 4th birthday... but wow, she is so so very coordinated! It's crazy. I'm excited to see what the future brings for my little chubby lady.

I'm 3 months old tomorrow!!

I'm fat and I'm happy and I'm growing too fast!!! :(

Snow is here!

My kids were soooo excited when they looked out the window and saw snow today! All they cared about was getting in their snow clothes as fast as they could so they could go play in it. I'd say they lasted outside for a solid hour. Thats pretty good considering earlier stages of their lives they last about ten minutes.

 I packed Dylan in the Bjorn and carried him around in his little bear suit. It keeps him sooo snuggly and warm!

 The other night I went in to kiss Madison good night and this is how I found her!

Well Madison FINALLY pooped on the toilet! So this is what I've been bribing her with... A Belle dress from Beauty and the Beast. She totally loves it and is doing great using the toilet! I remind her to go, but most of the time she announces "mom I gotta go pee really bad" then after she pees I give her one M&M and if she poops I give her 5 M&Ms. It's going quite nicely and I'm very excited to have her out of diapers!

Opps I almost forgot!

Happy Halloween! Grayson was a ninja with a sweet Samuri sword not pictured, and Madison was Tiana from Princess and the Frog. Dylan was Winnie the Pooh, but he was napping when I took this pic and he wore his costume for about an hour so I never got one of him! We had a great time trick or treating at Dan's office and then going out to Draper and spending our night with the Kesslers. It was the most beautiful night, and we stayed out about 45 min, then Jake and Grayson had tons of energy so they kept going for another half hour. Fall was wonderful and I'm sad its gone!

Thoughts.

So I have some thoughts...
My little baby is on a pretty good schedule during the day with naps and everything. So I've been able to keep my house pretty organized and cleaned. It's been a long time coming because when I was pregnant I was exhausted all the time and didn't feel like doing anything.
EVERY weekend my house is a complete mess. I've come to a few conclusions as to why this is.
I'm so distracted by my super sexy hubby and can't get anything done...
We do so many fun things on the weekend I don't get time...
OR my hubby who is such a good provider and father doesn't pick up after himself...
Anybody have thoughts about this, like you have the same problem?? Hopefully??

2 Month Stats

So Dylan had his 2 month check-up today... he's actually 10 weeks.
So he's 15lbs 10oz- 98th percentile
24 3/8inches- 86th percentile

The crazy thing is that Madison was only 13.84lbs when she was 10 weeks! He's almost 2lbs more than she was. I thought she was the fattest baby ever! It's obvious we have a little over achiever on our hands :)

 Grayson was on a soccer team this fall. The first few games he just ran around a lot and got tired and distracted. Then the last couple, man something just clicked. He was like a machine! Run, get the ball, go to the goal. I am quite impressed at his skill:) It's so fun to see him excel and learn and grow!



The last few weeks...

This last few weeks has gone by really fast! Having 3 kids is challenging, but I think I'm finally getting the hang of it. Dylan is on a pretty good schedule and I've started to be able to get things done. Something pretty amazing that I don't think happened with my other 2 kids for a lot longer... he went for 8 hours without nursing last night! He fussed once, but I just put the binki in and he went back to sleep right away. Amazing!
This last week Dan had a birthday! Yikes. His mom and sisters came to visit. Dylan was blessed. I've put myself on a strict laundry schedule. I dyed my hair. I got some Christmas shopping done. We got a new kitchen table. I got a road bike. We won't be buying anything else for a long time.

 We took a last minute trip to the zoo... I called Kristen as I was getting on the freeway and she came with us! I love it when people can be flexible and randomly do stuff with no notice!

 I dyed my hair dark... Just for Dan. He said he prefers burnettes, so I decided since I'm flabby from havin a baby I should do something to make him think I'm hot still:)

 He's getting so much more alert and has some cute little facial expressions.

 Aunt Sarah picked up this birthday hat for Dan. He's one tough turkey.

 I slicked his hair down so he looks a little nerdy. Oh but I love him!

For his birthday we had a delicious dinner. Ribeye steaks, baked potatoes, grilled asparagus, salad, bread, and a mint chocolate chip cake to top it off.

 Dan got 2 shirts from the kids, gift cards from his family... combined with some of our own money and a thumbs up from such a cool wife a new 50" flat screen TV! He's been wanting one for sooo long. Here's a snapshot from my cell phone.

Dylan was blessed on Sunday. I was going to have him wear Grayson's blessing outfit which was a size NB. It wasn't even close to fitting so I ended up getting new one... size 6M. These photos are some I had my sister-in-law take. Just a sneak preview. I'll post more when she finished editing! The blessing was very nice and we celebrated with all the family at my parents house. It was kind of sad to see how small the blessing circle has gotten. My dad is now the oldest priesthood holder in our family and since there aren't any members in Dan's family it was just my Dad, Adam, Morgan, the bishop and the stake president happend to be there. I'm so lucky and glad my dad is able to preform priesthood responsiblities for my family until MAYBE one day Dan decides to step in :) I can hope right?!
