Happy Birthday ME!

On Friday we went to Bonzai with Bri and Wade and of course the kiddos. The kids marveled at the amazing chefery but I think all in all Bri was the most in awe (it's her fav restaruant.) We had a great time, then Bri helped me paint our family room and kitchen! Oh so much easier with 2 people! I owe her big time!

On Saturday we left the kids with Jon and Kristen and went to The Roof with my parents. It's become a tradition and I love it! Beautiful view, music and great food. I've come to realize it doesn't matter what I'm eating as long as I have a good atmosphere and good company. Thanks JandK for being such awesome sitters. It's great to have good friends who your kids love.

 It's my birthday, I'm surprised I didn't do something more crazy:)

On Sunday, my actual birthday we had pancakes, orange julius, and brownie cheesecake for dessert. I'm good on sweets for awhile!

This is Madison's new signature laugh. It just cracks me up. It only goes till about 35 seconds and the rest is Grayson being a dork.

Grayson fell asleep 30 minutes before New Years. He was beat. Maybe next year!

We had a great Christmas and are very very blessed. I think the kids got a little spoiled and I need to tone it down next year. We got to spend a lot of time with family and had a great time. According to Grayson, Santa brings all the good boys and girls presents because he is so happy that Jesus was born! That's how I'd like to keep it. It's the only way I could think of incorporating the two.
We had a nice little new years get together at our house and are looking forward to 2011.
A couple of nights ago Grayson and Madison had a sleepover in Grayson's bed. It was seriously one of the best moments of my parenthood. They both got in his bed voluntarily, I left the room, they giggled for 10 minutes, then they fell asleep. I love that they are at an age where they can have fun together.

We took the kids sledding at Flat Iron. Grayson rocked the hill by himself. It was awesome!
