Baby Daddy

I just love pictures of Dan and Grayson. When I have a camera and my 2 favorite people in the whole world are together... OH ITS PHOTO TIME BABY! So you might ask "where are all the pics of Dan and Grayson if you take so many?" Well, for some reason Dan isnt too excited when I get the camera out so my photo ops are limited! I dont konw what it is but there's something about baby daddy playing with his kid that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside!

This kid is getting to be quite the ham!

Can you say STATIC CLING! Her personality is like her hair, spazzy!

No no no!

This is just a quick one...
This morning Grayson was sitting at his highchair and kept knocking his sippy cup to the ground. I kept picking it up and saying "no no Grayson your cup stays up here" after a couple of minutes I took it away from him and put in on the table. He looked at me, smiled and shook his finger at me and said "no no no." It was sooooo dang cute!

I didn't die!

This is about 20 feet from the finish line... I was VERY happy to be done! I was proud of myself because I can honestly say I tried very very hard to meet my goal of a 2hr finish. However I didnt quite make it... my time was 2:06.25. So I have some work to do if I want to reach my marathon goal of 4hr 15 min! I had a really good experience and am looking forward to completing a race again! Here's how it went...we woke up at 6:30am, had some breakfast and went into town to catch the bus. We got to the starting line at about 8:30 and the race started at 10... so we waited around in the cold for an hour and a half-I was the only one in my group to wear under armour and I'm sooooo glad I did! CLICK-CLACK! It was so cold they actually had coolers full of hot chocolate for us to drink while we waited. I began running with some girls I went with-Camille & Jodi- and lost them at about mile 3 at a water station. I survived the rest of the way with my chocolate goo and MP3 player. The scenery was so beautiful, we ran right next to the Green River and were surrounded by towering red rock cliffs. I felt pretty good until mile 8. After that I really had to push myself especially when I hit the big hill at mile 9! It was definitely a struggle the last 2 miles as I ran past people cheering for the runners and I saw daddy's and little kids cheering for their mommy's. At that point I almost started crying like a baby. Pretty pathetic I must say, but I was able to compose myself. At the end I had friends waiting in sweatbands and green and white striped tights with poofy ratted hair screaming their faces off at me. It was good to see them but even better to see the finish line! I will definitely run again next year, I loved it! I really missed Grayson and Dan. Next year they are going with me NO BATTLE!

Leaving on a jet plane... not really.

Well as I look forward to my weekend trip to Moab to run the 'half' I'm a little nervous. Not because of the run or the fact that I hardly know the people I'm going with. It's the first time I'm going to leave my little Grayson! Since the day he was concieved the little guy hasnt left my side for more than a few hours. I miss him when I go to the movies... soooo I feel I have a bittersweet weekend ahead of me! It will be good for me to get away and have a girls weekend and it will be good for Dan to spend some quality time with his Number One Son.
The 'half' doesnt really seem like a big deal to me because of the May marathon. Really this is only part of training! So maybe I can get some sprints in to help build muscle... HA yeah right! My goal is to run it in 2hrs or less, so hopefully that will be accomplished. Moab here I come!
