My BIG boy

Look at this kid. I swear he was just a cuddly little baby and now he's all growed up... :( Isn't he just a handsome little devil?!?! The expression on his face is what happens when he hears an airplane or helicopter fly by.
We built a fort on Saturday and Grayson was very proud of himself! We got all the pillows around the house and piled them in the corner. I grabbed a few of Grayson's favorite books and he layed his head back on my shoulder while I read to him for about 20 minutes! That is a LONG time for an 18 month old to hold still!

Very FUN Idea!

Instructions: Buy one packet of instant vanilla pudding a posterboard and food coloring. Make the pudding and seperate into 4 different bowls mixing a different color in each. Go outside and let your kid teach you how to paint! Grayson just loved this activity, mostly because he was able to eat the paint. After he decided he was done, he ran around the corner and wanted to 'drive' Dada's car. He put his messy hands all over the door handle and left Dada a nice surprise for later!

Provo River Half

I've run a marathon... after that every other distance sounds soo measly! So in my brain running a half marathon sounded like a walk in the park. But in fact, without much dedication to training it is not such a good idea! The week before the half I ran 2 miles one day and 2 miles another day. The week before that I ran 6 miles on the weekend. And the week before that I ran 8 miles in a race. That's it. So if you can imagine today, the day after the half I feel like I just ran a marathon. My calves are 100 tiny balls of steel and I groan and moan when I have to lower myself to the ground or pretty much use my legs at all. But the good news is I beat my previous half time by 2 minutes! 2:04.06. So just think, if I actually trained I might be able to run a 1:50 or below! I really enjoyed this race, it was well organized, I met some cool people, and the scenery was beautiful. I will definitely do it again!

Breaking Dawn...

Well, I must say with all of the hype I was kind of expecting to be disappointed.... BUT I LOVED IT! Maybe if you're in the middle of reading it stop reading this!!
It was pretty predictable with the whole happily ever after ending, but the twist of Bella getting pregnant with a half vampire half human baby and Jacob 'imprinting' on Renesmee was pretty unexpected (well for me anyway) if Dan would have read it I'm sure he would've guessed all of it way before it happened :) I'm really glad that Bella became beautiful and discovered her amazing power. I got sick of her constant averageness!
I'm hoping to acquire the first book again and start the series over. All of the books had me reading very fast to see what would happen. Now that I know maybe I'll enjoy them even more. I know its a total girl drama lovely-story kinda book, but I definitely like Stephanie Meyer. After reading 'The Host' I can see that she isn't just a one hit wonder. I know that some people don't like that one as much, but I almost liked it more. Anyway I look forward to anything else she puts out in the future. I'm quite skeptical about the movie because I know it's low budget, but I'm keeping an open mind.
